Months and months of slogging through VA,
DI, LR, QA and what not… Then XAT, CAT, GD, PI and we finally end up in XIMB.
Every time we thought we have had enough, there was a new assignment waiting or
a late night council-meet to be attended besides a lot of laundry to be taken
care of. One month and already too worked up!
But it was on 19th July, 2015
that it finally endowed what tradition and legacy we have signed for and what
XIMB in its true spirit is.
The batch of 2014-2016 officially welcomed the
batch of 2015-2017 through the exuberant event of Parichay.
As the name
suggests, it was the most unique and heart-warming welcome by the seniors who
went a step ahead in making us feel at ease by opening a plethora of
entertainment for us. The event lasted
three hours during which we got a sneak-peak into the fun side of our senior
batch through their scintillating performances. Even our very own ‘Mess
Bhainas’ welcomed first year students with their moves on Kolaveri Di.
From dance to song to stand-up comedy and
from cool guitar beats to even mouth organs and piano… the stage of the college
auditorium was set afire!
The gala event concluded with a lush dinner
for students to relish.
After such wonderful evening, back in
pavilion, we were left to wonder- Is it really true when they say life in
BSchool is tough? ‘Coz we know now that XIMB is more than placements,
assignments, classes and presentations. It is a way of life!
But wait…
The fun is not over.
Lo and behold seniors! We will be back with
Sambandh and this time we will get you grooving!!!
